This is what life is really about

I’ve been seeing the hallelujah trend everywhere and I finally understand why it’s hitting so hard

We spend so much time chasing things

More money

More success

More stuff

But when you actually stop and look at your life… it’s not the things that matter

It’s the people

Everything, hallelujah

The life I get to live, hallelujah

Generations of strong women before me… hallelujah

A husband who stands by me and builds with me… hallelujah

Happy, healthy kids… hallelujah

A best friend who’s been there through everything… hallelujah

This trend really put things into perspective for me

Because at the end of the day, it’s never going to be about what you have

It’s about who you have

And I don’t ever want to be so busy building a life…

that I forget to actually live it

If you needed a reminder today

this is it

Take a second and think about your people

That’s your life

That’s your hallelujah

It really makes you think about what’s important in life. My heart has been so heavy the past two weeks for the people evacuated from their homes or don’t have one to go back to. The firefighters and first responders working around the clock. The businesses that opened their doors to help evacuees

Thinking about quitting university?
I believe someone is lying if they never ever considered dropping out of university at some point. Every other exam season I’m considering my life choices and if I am even good enough to continue etc. etc. etc. And if you’re the same, you’re not alone! It is not always just a “funny thought”, so if

I Wish I Knew About Periods When I Was Younger

IDGAF about anyone’s OPINIONS of me + this is WHY👏🏼
I’ve spent SO much of my life worrying about other people’s opinions about me. I spent countless years stressing that I wasn’t living up to the standards that people had held me to my entire life and looking back… it was so many years of wasted potential where I could have been focusing on myself

5 things I dislike about thrifting as a thrifter
1. Prices are becoming outrageous for PRE-WORN clothing. I won’t blame it only on resellers but that definitely contributes to the problem. As a college student, thrifting is what I can afford and now some things I’m finding are out of my budget these days. 2. People who are snobby about brands
