what medication helps with your migraines?

having never suffered a migraine until I turned 30 and got sober- I have no idea where to start as far as medication goes. of course my original route was Google to which I immediately ordered the Excedrin migraine relief but found quite quickly that if you take too much of it it can just create headaches as a kind of reaction to too much of it has anyone heard of this? so after much and much complaining to my doctors I finally got a prescription recently for sumatriptans and they seem to be helping but I wanted to see what others had experience with and if it was working for them! it's basically a neverending month long migraine at this point. #lemon8contest #AskLemon8 #migraines #migraine #migrainehelp
