My baby is about to be a big brother so soon 😻

6/17 Edited to

... Read morePreparing a toddler for a new sibling can be both exciting and challenging. When my baby was about to become a big brother, I found that involving him in the pregnancy journey helped build his excitement and eased potential feelings of jealousy. Simple steps like reading books about becoming a big brother, letting him help set up the nursery, and talking about what it means to have a new baby in the family made a big difference. One of the key moments was encouraging him to express his feelings openly. Toddlers may not fully understand the changes happening around them, so validating their emotions helps them feel secure. We also made sure to spend one-on-one time together to reassure him that he is still special and loved. Another helpful tip is to introduce the concept of sharing early on, as attention and resources will inevitably be divided with the new arrival. Providing your toddler with some control or choices during this transition can promote a positive attitude. For instance, letting them choose a special gift for the baby or picking their own 'big brother' shirt fosters inclusion. Lastly, be patient and flexible. Every child adapts differently, so maintaining a supportive environment is essential. Celebrating the milestones of both your toddler and the new baby strengthens family bonds and creates lasting memories.

what they don’t tell you about breastfeeding
hello ◡̈ When I began breastfeeding I felt like I didn’t know anything. I became overwhelmed with it and I definitely chop it down to the fact that I wasn’t well educated on any of it. Breastfeeding is almost this weird taboo thing, much less now than it used to be, but I feel like it’s just not

THOUGHTS ABOUT NIVEA CREME 🧐
DISCLAIMER: I use this cream exclusively on my body and hands only. Because I have more combination, acne-prone skin, I do not use this cream on my face. So I can't speak to how it performs as a facial moisturizer. However, I love using it on my hands, elbows, knees, and feet! ➡️ My hands t

let’s talk about GENDER DISAPPOINTMENT🥲
hello ◡̈ I think there's a lot of negativity thrown at people for experiencing gender disappointment when discovering their baby's gender, and I find that so silly. It's perfectly normal to feel a little upset if you dreamed of having a daughter and end up with a son, or vice versa.
