Some owners add a gentle splash of reptile-safe shampoo, but often just water is sufficient to clean dirt and loose skin. Bathing also gives you a chance to check for any skin issues, parasites, or unusual behavior. Regular baths, about once or twice a week, can stimulate natural shedding, especially during growth phases. However, avoid over-bathing, which might dry out your pet's skin. During bath time, many bearded dragons enjoy gentle hand stimulation or light splashing, which can help them feel secure. After the bath, make sure to gently towel dry your pet and place it back in its warm enclosure.
