Sheet pan meals have gained popularity for their simplicity and convenience, making them ideal for busy evenings. This recipe combines the sweetness of maple syrup with the tanginess of Dijon mustard to create a tasty marinade that infuses the chicken and vegetables with flavor. Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare your veggies by chopping sweet potatoes and fresh broccoli, then coat them lightly in oil and seasonings. The mix of garlic powder and smoked paprika adds depth to the dish, while the maple syrup and Dijon mustard provide a delightful glaze. When adding the chicken, you can choose between thighs or breasts depending on your preference. The chicken cooks alongside the vegetables, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully. Baking everything together on a single sheet pan not only saves time on dishes but also helps enhance the taste as the ingredients roast together. For variation, try adding other seasonal vegetables such as carrots or bell peppers to the mix for added color and nutrition. Consider pairing your Maple Dijon sheet pan meal with a light salad or whole grain for a complete dining experience.
