Paintbrush, Joy, and Heart Strokes: A Big Small World in Creation
In the midst of a stream of life to move forward and fight, I discovered a personal "oasis" hidden in the end of the paintbrush. Drawing may not be a huge source of income, but it is the enormous source of energy that has always nurtured my heart.
My artwork may not be valued as a tall number, but it is valued by "love" from people who are really in love with who I am. Each of the works I deliver as a gift on a special occasion is a sense medium that I purposefully scrutinize out to see my smile and my perception of value in what I do.
On a calm, emotional day, picking up paintbrush to add color is a time when the whole world stands still...
No worries, no outside noise, just me, watercolors and fantasies that make life look as beautiful and simple as it should be.
Although the work is stored in the file, it is a picture album that reflects growth, or although it does not sell well in a landslide, every time a small drawing order comes in, or someone comes in to greet me because of my interest in the work, it is the greatest pride "in this small world.
I didn't draw just for anyone to buy...But I drew to fulfill my freedom and said to myself that a beautiful life is a life where we still have a space for aesthetics to blossom.
