-Nobu 3/5⭐️: too expensive for the food quality (Japanese)
-Paranza 4.5/5⭐️: on the pricier side but the food was really good, best desserts EVER!!! (italian)
-Poseidon’s Table 4.5/5⭐️: also on the pricier side but you get you’re money’s worth.
Tips:
-BRING WATER SHOES!!! I cannot stress this enough, we couldn’t enjoy our first day as much because of this. Save yourself some money and bring them from home.
-The rapid river is your method of transportation throughout the rides. Sounds crazy but it is the easiest way, so you don’t have to be in line for 30 mins in front of the ride to get a tube.
- The best beach is the Cove, don’t waste your time going to the other ones.
- Get ready to WALK!!! The resort is huge and the method of transportation is walking, specially if you’re staying in the Coral tower.
-It is an expensive resort so have that in mind and budget accordingly.
⭐️Overall rating: 4.0/5: I would definitely love to go back.
... Read moreOkay, so you've heard my main tips, but let's dive deeper into making your Atlantis trip absolutely unforgettable, especially if you're chasing that perfect 'Bahamas aesthetic', staying at The Coral, or traveling with little ones!
First, for all my fellow photo enthusiasts craving that Bahamas aesthetic, Atlantis is a goldmine. Beyond the stunning Cove Beach, which is truly picture-perfect with its sandy beach and clear turquoise ocean water, don't miss capturing the iconic pink-hued Atlantis resort buildings and that majestic connecting archway – especially at sunrise or sunset for incredible lighting! The lush tropical foliage and abundant palm trees throughout the property also offer fantastic backdrops. Even the subtly lit winding pathways at night create a magical, serene ambiance for evening strolls and unique shots. I loved just soaking in the view of that calm, blue body of water from different vantage points.
Now, if you're considering or already booked at The Coral at Atlantis, let me tell you a bit more. While my original tip about getting ready to walk definitely holds true (it's a huge resort!), staying at The Coral has its own charms. It often feels a bit more vibrant and centrally located, making it a great hub. It’s a fantastic choice for families or those who appreciate a livelier atmosphere without being right in the thick of the action like some other towers. While it's not directly on the main beach, you're still just a pleasant stroll away from everything. Just remember, your comfy shoes will be your best friend here! You might even find yourself near some of the marine habitats, which brings me to my next point.
Traveling with kids? You're in luck because Atlantis is surprisingly kid-friendly, even beyond the main water park thrills. While I didn't get into specific Atlantis Bahamas kids pool details in my initial review, there are dedicated areas designed for younger guests. Think shallow splash zones, mini-slides, and interactive water features that are perfect for toddlers and elementary-aged kids. Many of these are separate from the deeper, faster rides, offering a safe and fun environment. Beyond the pools, the marine habitats are a huge hit. Watching fish swimming in the clear blue water through an underwater viewing tunnel is mesmerizing for all ages – trust me, I felt like a kid again! And seeing those graceful dark-colored stingrays swimming in the shallow waters was an absolute highlight. It's not just about thrilling slides; it's about educational and awe-inspiring experiences too. So pack those swimsuits for the little ones and get ready for some serious family fun!
