My lil sis has to do a mile run at school... 😅

That guy just signed an executive order bringing back the Presidential Fitness Test in all public schools. The test from decades ago with the one-mile run, pull-ups, sit-ups, shuttle runs… basically a mini military bootcamp for kids.🙂

My 10-year-old sister just looked up from her tablet and shocked like “wait… I have to run how far?” 😂 But the thing is this was never about health. It was about control, about measuring “worthiness” by push-ups while ignoring neurodiversity, mental health, and actual well-being…

If we really cared about kids, we’d be funding school lunches and inclusive health education, but not reviving a test that made so many of us feel like failures…

Are we really bringing back trauma from gym class in 1998? Do we really need that??? Curious to know if think that's great for kids' health or just control… I want to hear about it!
