🤱🏼Im so tired of breastfeeding 🤱🏼
Now don’t get me wrong. I loved breast-feeding in the beginning because I was fortunate enough to be able to provide my son with everything he needs from myself.👩🏼🍼 But now I am so over it‼️I was trying to go until he was two years old, and I was hoping he would wean himself off. Obviously, that is not the case.🥲
I’ve heard of so many different remedies like putting things that taste bad so they don’t want more but this kid likes everything😅 hot sauce, vinegar, anything you can think of!!
So if anyone has any other tips or tricks that might help, please let me know. I am desperate at this point. 😭
Transitioning from breastfeeding can be a challenging experience for both mother and child, especially when your little one has grown accustomed to this natural bond. As your child approaches two years old, many parents face the difficult task of weaning. It's important to approach this stage with patience and understanding. Experts often recommend gradually replacing breastfeeding sessions with alternative comforting methods, such as cuddling or reading stories. Involving your child in the process can also help; perhaps offer them a special cup or bottle for their milk during this transition. You can also introduce new, appealing foods to distract them during times they would normally breastfeed. Although many parents try various strategies to deter breastfeeding, it's vital to remember that each child is unique. Some common techniques include implementing a routine where breastfeeding is substituted for a healthy snack or drink. Additionally, engaging your little one in playful activities can redirect their focus away from breastfeeding. Joining online support groups can provide you with collective wisdom and encouragement from other mothers who have been in similar situations. With persistence and support, you can find the balance that works for you and your child.

I was lucky, as soon as she had her first mango it was over lol
