I am contemplating about leaving my big girl job ðŸ˜
I have been working a corporate job for the last 3 years on Halloween est 10/31/22. I have worked literally 4 different positions in the 3 years of working here. I have been moved 2 times into positions that I did not like or want to work in. The pay and benefits are amazing and I am finally making enough to possibly get a place of my own.
I want to legit leave because I am not happy here. I hate working a metrics based job it feels quite overwhelming at times. I only want to stay because of the pay and benefits.
I am so afraid of leaving though because apparently it is a tough job market and I should be grateful right??? I don't know it's all so overwhelming and scary. I need advice on what to do. I am currently taking a course to get my medical billing certificate so I can get a job off the phones possibly elsewhere. Is this the right move?? should I stay?? It feels like my job is trying to soft fire people by forcing us into positions that we don't want and pushing metrics into.
