Strawberry Legs One Month Progress
Hey guys, thanks so much for the support and suggestions on my last post.
I know some of you had questions for updates or follow ups but I didn’t want to provide one until I can give a ACTUAL progress photos.
(I don’t think it’s been exactly one month but long enough to see results for sure)
I decided to continue using the same products from the first post so I can make sure it’s what was giving me results.
I use all the products every single day for week one and started using it every other day or every two days so I don’t completely destroy my skin barrier with all the physical exfoliation and chemical exfoliation from the salicylic acid.
The results are definitely there and I’m so happy but I still have a long way to go. The pictures don’t do justice to how much difference there is but also doesn’t show how much work there is still to do.
I’m going to be trying some new products like glycolic acid and bump eraser and I’ll make a post once I’ve bought them!
Anyways, just a reminder there is NOTHING wrong with having strawberry skin or also nothing wrong with wanting to treat it. Results won’t be as won’t look the same for everyone so be patient.
Thanks guys 🥰

Hey everyone! Following up on my one-month journey with strawberry legs, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into what this common skin concern actually is and how you can approach treating it. Many of you asked for more details, and I’m happy to share my extended tips and insights. First off, 'strawberry legs' isn't a medical term, but it perfectly describes the appearance of tiny dark spots on the legs, resembling strawberry seeds. These spots are usually clogged hair follicles or enlarged pores that contain trapped oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells, which darken when exposed to air (oxidation). Sometimes, it can also be caused by ingrown hairs, a condition known as keratosis pilaris, or folliculitis. It’s super common, and truly, there's nothing to be ashamed of! My own skin texture before starting felt rough and looked uneven, which is why I was determined to find a solution. When people ask 'how to get rid of strawberry legs,' it's important to understand it's often a process of consistent care rather than a quick fix. Based on my one-month progress, I’ve learned that a multi-pronged approach is key. My initial routine, which showed noticeable improvement, focused on gentle exfoliation and hydration. I used both physical exfoliants (like a gentle scrub or mitt) and chemical exfoliants containing salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that’s oil-soluble, meaning it can penetrate deeper into the pores to dislodge the buildup causing those dark dots. For those wondering 'how long does it take to get rid of strawberry legs,' my experience shows that you can definitely see improvement within a month, but complete eradication might take longer and require ongoing maintenance. The 'Strawberry Legs 1 month progress' I shared was encouraging, but I still have areas I want to improve. That’s why I’m looking into adding glycolic acid (an AHA) and products specifically designed for 'bump eraser' effects, which often contain AHAs or BHAs in higher concentrations, to my routine. These work by shedding dead skin cells more effectively from the surface, smoothing out the 'strawberry legs skin texture.' For individuals with 'black strawberry legs' or darker skin tones, it’s especially important to be gentle to avoid post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Using harsh scrubs or over-exfoliating can sometimes worsen discoloration. Opt for chemical exfoliants and ensure your skin is well-moisturized afterwards. Hydration is crucial for all skin types, as dry skin can exacerbate the appearance of strawberry legs. After exfoliating, I always apply a rich, fragrance-free moisturizer to keep my skin barrier healthy. Tracking your 'strawberry skin legs before after' is also motivating! Take photos in similar lighting conditions to truly see the subtle changes. Remember, everyone's skin responds differently, so patience and consistency are your best friends on this journey. Don't be discouraged if your progress isn't as fast as someone else's. The goal is healthier, smoother skin, and a little progress each month adds up!

I was just telling my daughter to do these things cause it worked for me, now let me show her this post cause she rather listen to someone she doesn’t know 😂 thank you
