Leveling up at 30
If you follow me or you have been following me, you’ve seen that. I am on a new journey of trying to elevate my life and becoming the best person I can be at the age of 30. Lately I have been making new friends, going outside more, learning new hobbies and reading a lot more books.
But I really want to romanticize what I want my life to actually be like in this age of 30 ism . I am making the decision of going on a huge weight loss journey, I’m going on a hair growth journey, I am trying to take financial literacy classes, I want to do more things like tennis or Pickleball, I’m really interested in riding horses, I want to elevate my business and my brand and I want to date more #growingmyself #growthjourney❤️ #growthroughlife #growthmindset #bodytransformation
Embracing your 30s as a time for personal growth and 'leveling up' is such an exciting journey, and I totally resonate with the idea of romanticizing everyday life. It’s not just about setting big goals, but truly enjoying the process and finding beauty in the little things that contribute to your overall well-being. Here's a bit more about how I approach this transformative period and some practical tips I've picked up along the way. First, let's talk about what 'romanticizing life' really means in practice. For me, it's about being intentional and present. It could be as simple as brewing a special cup of tea in the morning and savoring it without distractions, or taking an extra moment to choose an outfit that makes you feel good. It’s about creating a personal sanctuary in your home, even if it's just a cozy reading corner. I've found that adding small rituals, like lighting a candle while journaling or listening to calming music while doing chores, can completely shift my perspective and make daily tasks feel more like self-care. When it comes to picking up new hobbies, like getting into tennis or even horse riding, the initial step can feel overwhelming. My advice? Don't aim for perfection right away. Start with a beginner's class or even just watch some online tutorials to get a feel for it. I found a local community center that offered affordable beginner tennis lessons, and it was a great way to meet new people and learn without too much pressure. Remember, the goal is enrichment and enjoyment, not necessarily becoming a pro overnight. Exploring new interests is a fantastic way to stretch yourself and discover hidden passions. Taking control of your finances through 'financial literacy' can seem daunting, but it's one of the most empowering steps you can take in your 30s. I started by simply dedicating 20 minutes each week to reviewing my bank statements and understanding where my money was going. There are so many free resources available online, from podcasts that break down complex topics into easy-to-understand segments to free webinars on budgeting. My personal breakthrough came when I created a simple budget and started tracking my progress. Even small consistent actions, like saving a little each payday or learning one new financial term a week, can make a huge difference over time. Staying consistent on this 'growth journey' is probably the biggest challenge. There will be days when motivation dips, or you might feel like you're not making enough progress. During these times, I remind myself of my 'why.' Why did I start this? What vision do I have for my life at 30 and beyond? I also find immense value in having an accountability partner or joining online communities where people are pursuing similar goals. Sharing your struggles and celebrating small wins with others can provide that much-needed boost. Remember, growth isn't linear; there will be ups and downs, but the key is to keep showing up for yourself, even on the tough days. Every single step forward, no matter how small, is a victory on the path to leveling up.
