Pumping journey
I went from producing 1-2 oz combined in one session. Things that worked for me were
-Drinking LOTS AND LOTS of WATER, coconut water mixed with body armor
-Pump every 2-3 hours
-Latch baby on
-POWER PUMPING (pump for 20/rest 10/pump10/rest 10/pump10)
-A good pump is a must(I use spectra and pump for 20min with cheat sheet)
-it’s also very important to do those midnight pumps

Achieving a successful pumping routine can be challenging for many new mothers. Key to increasing breast milk supply is staying hydrated; drinking plenty of water and nourishing fluids like coconut water can significantly help. Regular pumping every 2-3 hours not only mimics a baby's feeding schedule but also boosts milk production. One of the standout methods is power pumping, which involves alternating between pumping for 20 minutes and resting for 10 minutes. This technique can effectively stimulate milk flow, particularly when combined with quality equipment like the Spectra pump. It's also important to make a habit of pumping at night, as hormonal levels can fluctuate and improve supply during these hours. Joining online communities such as #pumplife or #breastfeedingtips can provide further support and encouragement from fellow mothers navigating similar experiences.
