wym Iām a size __ but also __ & __?
I havenāt gotten professionally sized in my chesticular area. Like ever. Iāve honestly been raw dogging my bra size my whole life.
It hasnāt really been a positive experience. Like historically & factually, women tend to have one breast bigger than the other, as if we already didnāt have other things to be self aware about.
Looking for a bra has been a journey of self discovery. Like I think I learned a lot more about myself at the bra section of the Kohlās than I did in school. The amount of times Iāve walked in & out of that fitting room⦠honestly I think it was a bit of a religious experience.
Now!! I donāt wear bras really. Okay like I do, but I donāt wear any underwire. But thatās also because f uck underwire? Too many a time had I had a bra stab me in the back. Literally. You mean to tell me this was made with expertise? Is this really just me learning the female experience? Beauty REALLY is pain????
I just wear sports bras and bralettes now. Iām used to the S/M/L method than I am with any other scientific formulas. Donāt ask me about A/B/C unless itās about the grading scale in school.
I want to though! I think itās nice to actually know things about yourself. Like, crazy? I just have gotten so overstimulated with everything that Iād rather just go to the simple things. I also donāt want to be told āitās a spectrumā bc stfu I AM on the spectrum ššš can we keep one part of me that is FACT????
I know itās the brands I need to direct my anger at, and trust me, it is!!! Itās all directed at those bšbie thieves!!! Can we have a meeting and sit down and talk about a middle ground?? And can this meeting only have women??
If you think this is plainly about bšbies, youāre wrong. The denim industry is foul too. S/M/L only. I donāt look at the size at the thrift store. I just try it on and if I like, I like š¤·
I probably sound like an old person honestly when I talk about companies and their ānumbersā and āformulasā and yk what? He ll yeah. Old people got that right. Because sometimes F UCK that?? Iām not even bitter by nature, Iām bitter by cause!!! I need to carry a notecard with all of my measurements once I actually give in and get my š© together because once I get it done Iām not getting it done again. I already learned my social & my phone number I donāt have any more room in there š¤
Finding the right bra can be an overwhelming experience. Many women face challenges with fitting due to inconsistent sizing across brands, leading to confusion and frustration. Recognizing that each body is unique, it is essential to understand how your bra size can change and that traditional sizing (like A/B/C) may not accurately represent your needs. A range of brands now focus on inclusivity, offering a variety of cup sizes and band widths. Additionally, many women are discovering the comfort of bralettes and sports bras, which cater to different lifestyles and preferences. Beyond comfort, it's about recognizing the societal pressures relating to body image and understanding oneās identity within that spectrum. Empowerment comes when women choose to embrace their bodies, regardless of size, and prioritize their comfort over societal norms. Ultimately, it's crucial to advocate for better sizing practices in the industry to ensure that women can find bras that truly fit and support their unique body shapes.
