Prom Uzi – Custom figure

Hey everyone! I'm still buzzing with excitement over finishing my latest custom figure project: none other than Prom Uzi from Murder Drones! This character truly captured my imagination, especially her iconic prom night look. I just had to bring her to life in physical form. When I first saw Uzi's prom dress design, I knew it would be a fantastic challenge. That distinctive purple dress, paired with her cool black gloves, just screams 'Uzi.' My goal was to perfectly capture her rebellious spirit and unique style. I focused on getting the details right, from the flow of her dress to the weapon she’s holding, ensuring it felt authentic to the show. Making sure her pose reflected her personality was key – dynamic yet effortlessly cool. The process itself was a journey. I spent hours sculpting, carefully molding every tiny piece to get her proportions just right. Painting her purple prom dress was probably the most intricate part, layering shades to give it depth and realism. The black gloves were a fun detail to add, making her look even more fierce. I decided to place her on a sleek mirrored base, which I think really elevates the display and makes her pop. It was a small touch but made a big difference in presentation. One of the biggest hurdles was capturing the intricate details of her face and expression at such a small scale, but I think I managed to convey her signature gaze. I also brainstormed how to present her, and using a simple white pegboard background with those fun colorful letters really helps her stand out in photos, drawing your eye right to her.
