My go-to places are Pinterest and Google Images. Try searching for specific terms like 'Jack Skellington outline printable,' 'Sally face drawing template,' or even 'Nightmare Before Christmas vector art free.' You'll find a range from simple line art, perfect for beginners, to more intricate designs. Sometimes, I even look for coloring pages – they often have great, clean outlines! Once you have your desired outline, how do you get it onto your mug? There are a few tried-and-true methods: Pencil Transfer Method: This is super simple and what I often use for smaller details. Print your outline on regular paper. Flip the paper over and heavily shade the back of the outline with a soft pencil (like a 2B or 4B). Then, place the shaded side down onto your mug where you want the design. Using a pen or a dull pencil, firmly trace over the lines of your outline. When you lift the paper, you'll have a faint pencil guide on your mug! It’s like magic, and a great way to start, especially when you're thinking, 'GUESS WHAT IT IS' going to look like before committing to paint. Carbon Paper/Tracing Paper: If you have carbon paper, it's even easier. Place the carbon paper between your printed outline and the mug, then trace.
