DIY Taba Squishy NEEDOH that Actually LIGHTS UP

... Read moreHey everyone! I'm so excited to share more about making these incredible DIY Taba Needoh squishies, especially the light-up version that everyone's curious about. I know many of you are searching for how to make a Needoh at home easily, and trust me, it's a super rewarding craft! Making paper squishies is already a ton of fun, but adding that "light up" element takes it to a whole new level. When I first thought about making a Taba Needoh squishy that glows, I wasn't sure if it was even possible. But with a bit of experimentation, it totally worked! The key is to source tiny, battery-operated LED lights – often found in mini craft stores or online. You don't want anything that generates heat, so small fairy lights or individual LEDs are perfect. For those wondering 'how to make needoh' or specifically a 'paper squishy needoh,' the journey starts with a good template. I've found that having a solid 'needoh paper template' makes all the difference. It ensures your squishy has the right shape and size. Once you have your template printed and cut out, you'll need to reinforce it with clear packing tape on both sides. This makes it durable and gives it that satisfying smooth feel. Don't skimp on the tape! This step is crucial for the longevity of your 'diy needoh paper' creation. Now, for the squishy part! What makes it a Needoh? The stuffing! I've experimented with various materials, but soft poly-fill or even cut-up plastic bags (for a crinklier sound) work best. You want it packed just right – not too tight that it's hard, and not too loose that it feels empty. Integrating the light is the most unique part of a 'light up needoh'. After you've taped up most of your paper squishy, leave a small opening. Carefully insert your chosen LED light string or individual LED. Make sure the battery pack is accessible if you need to turn it on/off or replace batteries later. Then, fill around the light with your stuffing. Seal the opening completely with more tape, ensuring no light leaks from the edges and the structure is secure. It took me a while to perfect sealing the edges so the light effect was even and the squishy remained intact. My biggest tip? Take your time with the taping. Overlap slightly and press down firmly to create a strong seal. This prevents air from escaping too quickly, giving you that great squish! If you're looking for 'needoh squishy template' or 'needoh paper squishy template' resources, definitely check out the link in the original post – it’s a lifesaver for getting started. These 'Taba squishes' are super satisfying to make and even more fun to play with, especially when they light up. It's a fantastic craft for anyone wanting to 'make your own needoh' and add a personal, glowing touch to their collection. Happy crafting!
