I used to grab store-bought pressed juices thinking it was the “healthy option”… until I checked the label and realized it was basically artificial sugar water. 😩 So I started making my own with my @Ninja Kitchen juicer, and now my gut is happier, my skin is glowing, and I actually feel good after drinking it.

In this video, I show the first juice, but here’s the full lineup with all 4 recipes I made for the week

🍍 Juice 1: Pineapple, Cucumber, Lemon

– helps with digestion, debloating, and hydration

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cucumber

• 1/2 pineapple

• 1 lemon

🥬 Juice 2: Apple, Cucumber, Kale, Lemon

– full of antioxidants, and greens without tasting like a salad

Ingredients:

1 apple

1/2 cucumber

handful of kale

1 lemon

🍏 Juice 3: Apple, Tangerine, Pineapple, Lemon

– vitamin C boost + tropical sweetness

Ingredients:

1 apple

1 tangerine

1/2 pineapple

1 lemon

🟢 Juice 4: Cucumber, Spinach, Pineapple, Turmeric

– refreshing and anti-inflammatory (perfect after a workout)

Ingredients:

1/2 cucumber

handful of spinach

1/2 pineapple

1/2 tsp turmeric

And for the “isn’t it still full of sugar?” ppl:

Yes, fruit has natural sugar, but it comes with vitamins, antioxidants, and hydration that your body actually uses. Unlike store-bought juice, homemade has no added sugar, no junk, and no mystery ingredients. Real juice straight from the source 💁🏽‍♀️

Homemade > store-bought, every time 🥤

... Read moreFeeling bloated and dehydrated is a common issue, and the right juice can really help alleviate these discomforts. The juices shared in this article target hydration and digestion, two key factors in feeling your best throughout the day. For example, the combination of pineapple, cucumber, and lemon in Juice 1 serves multiple functions: pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme that aids digestion and helps reduce inflammation; cucumber provides hydration and is rich in water and antioxidants; while lemon adds vitamin C and supports liver function to flush out toxins. Juice 2 brings in kale, one of the most nutrient-dense leafy greens, packed with antioxidants like quercetin and kaempferol which help reduce oxidative stress. Combining kale with apple and cucumber creates a tasty green juice that doesn't taste like a typical salad but still delivers powerful nutrients. Juice 3 delivers an immune boost with vitamin C-rich tangerine and pineapple alongside apple and lemon, creating a sweet and tangy profile that’s perfect for replenishing after stressful times or seasonal changes. Juice 4 uses turmeric, known for its potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, in combination with spinach, pineapple, and cucumber. This juice can refresh and soothe muscles, making it ideal for consumption post-workout or to support overall inflammation management. A key concern many have is the sugar content in fruit juices. While store-bought juices often contain added sugars and preservatives, homemade options contain only natural fruit sugars paired with fiber (if pulp is included), vitamins, and other micronutrients essential for your body. These natural sugars are metabolized differently and provide energy along with hydration and nutrients, unlike artificial sweeteners or syrups found in processed juices. For those who are new to juicing, investing in a quality juicer, like the Ninja Kitchen juicer mentioned, can make preparation easy and efficient. Regularly incorporating these juices into your diet can contribute to improved digestion, clearer skin, increased hydration, and overall vitality. When trying these recipes, consider experimenting by adding herbs like mint or ginger, which can further enhance digestion and flavor. Drinking fresh juice in the morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up helps maintain energy levels without relying on processed snacks. Embracing homemade cold-pressed or fresh juices not only benefits your health but also allows control over ingredient quality, ensuring there are no hidden additives. This promotes trust and confidence in what you consume, aligning perfectly with today’s health-conscious lifestyles.
