Calisthenics Improvement
Here’s what I’m still working on improving:
- Handstand push-ups (3-6 reps, 3-4 sets)
- L-sit (10-20 second holds, 3-4 sets)
- Crow pose which I absolutely need to keep improving on
- Head stand (10-20 second holds, 3-4 set)
I’ve also been working on dips, pike push-ups, and different core workouts which I’ll add in another video.

Calisthenics is a versatile and effective form of exercise that helps improve strength, flexibility, and overall fitness without the need for heavy equipment. For those looking to enhance their performance, focusing on key movements can yield significant results. One of the foundational skills is the handstand push-up, which builds upper body strength and core stability. Aim for 3-6 reps in each set, gradually increasing as your skills improve. The L-sit is also crucial as it targets your core, hip flexors, and shoulders; you should hold your position for 10-20 seconds per set. Additionally, working on the crow pose not only improves balance but also enhances your overall control in various calisthenics moves. Headstands, often seen as daunting, significantly contribute to neck and shoulder strength and should also be practiced in 10-20 second holds. To round out your routine, incorporating dips, pike push-ups, and various core workouts can lead to a well-rounded fitness regimen. These exercises help ensure balanced muscle development and increase your body's overall resilience. Keep challenging yourself and document your progress for long-term success!
