Are Olympics the peak of an athlete career?

I mean, is there a higher acomplishment than an Olympic medal? I can think examples like a Soccer World Cup, or the Grand Slam in tennis. But in sports like tracking, swimming, ciclism, wrestling, etc, the athletes themselves consider the Olympics more important than any other event?

I think the Olympics is kinda it but in some sports the world championship is bigger, like boxing. It depends on the athlete. Regardless, it’s definitely the top or near the top for most.
