The previous owner applied new paint before selling the house. While the paint smell is tolerable, I’m more concerned about the potential health risks from formaldehyde emissions. i would say get a good air purifier like the one from ninja or shark; and then leave the windows open for a while. opening windows and airing out the house is probably the best thing you can do

run a air purifier and leave the windows open for a few days. i hate the smell of paint so i try to avoid doing it when it’s cold and then you can’t open the windows and then the odors stick in the air
