How do they even do that?!

I finally bought my new 15-inch MacBook Air and the ""Sky Blue"" color is tripping me out. From across the room, it’s this gorgeous bright blue, but when I got closer? It totally shifts to a soft, muted gray!

Is this some magic nano-coating or light-refracting sorcery? I know Apple’s obsessed with details, but this feels mind-blowing. Has anyone else noticed this? And does it make you love the color more?
