“This model was commissioned by the inhabitants of the building, a 19th century villa in an Artnouveau style in Ronse - Belgium. The owners of the building are really proud of it and asked me if I could build a LEGO replica of it.
The building is so intricately detailed that I immediately fell in love with it. However, replicating all the little details proved to be quite the challenge.
This is without a doubt my favorite model I've ever built and I love how I managed to really bring it to life by trying to replicate all the tiny details of the real building.
This model was built in around 200 hours over the timespan of a year and it contains over 25.000 parts.”
