LEGO Wednesday & Enid’s Dorm Room - Review

When I first heard about the LEGO Wednesday & Enid’s Dorm Room set, I was so excited to see how they'd capture the iconic contrasting styles of these two beloved characters from Nevermore Academy. Having built it myself, I can confidently say LEGO truly delivered on the details! One of the most striking aspects for me was how perfectly they recreated Wednesday's gothic sanctuary. Her side of the room is just as dark and mysterious as you'd expect. I really appreciated the inclusion of her signature typewriter on the desk, which instantly brought to mind her dark poetry and investigations. Even the hanging skeleton decoration on her wall felt like a direct nod to her unique aesthetic. It’s these small, intricate elements that make her space feel so authentic and true to the show. Then you turn to Enid's side, and it's like a rainbow exploded! The vibrant colors are an absolute joy, perfectly reflecting her bubbly and energetic personality. Her colorful bed with that bright yellow pillow looks incredibly cozy and inviting. The multi-colored rug and the assortment of lively pictures on her wall really bring her space to life. The bright lamp is another charming detail that contrasts beautifully with Wednesday's darker tones. It's fascinating how LEGO managed to encapsulate two such distinct personalities within a single, cohesive set. Beyond the interior, the exterior architecture is also incredibly well-done and makes for a stunning display piece. They really help bring the set to life and allow for more imaginative play scenarios. And of course, Thing is there, peeking out, adding that essential touch of classic Addams Family quirkiness.
