🌸Put Some Respect on the Composition Notebook🫶✨✨✨

👍Pros & 🤔Cons

BEGGARS CAN'T BE CHOOSERS🥴

After last semester I won't plan to use a spiral notebook again 😑. Granted, they're aesthetically appealing and offer clean cut tear outs, but they have no longevity. I purchased this 5 subject notebook at the beginning of enrollment roughly 3 semesters ago and got very little use out of it up until this past Fall semester. I decided to purchase this 1 inch binder today to save the unused pages of the collapsing notebook, although I'm not a fan of binders either as they are just as dainty. The durability of Composition Notebooks is way better, the only issue is page removal, so I grabbed a "Comp Book" and a ruler to assist with clean cut tear outs behind the left margin if need be. Also, the added geographical and metric tools are a plus.

Spiral notebooks often look appealing with their colorful coils and clean tear-outs, but they tend to fall apart quickly, especially after being carried in a backpack or used over several months. On the other hand, composition notebooks provide a sturdy binding that protects pages securely, making them ideal for long-term use. One challenge I initially faced with composition notebooks was the difficulty of removing pages neatly, particularly for assignments or sharing notes. However, I found that using a ruler to guide clean cuts along the margin works surprisingly well. This method prevents jagged edges and keeps the integrity of the notebook intact. Additionally, many composition notebooks come with helpful extras like printed geographical maps or metric measurement charts, which I found to be handy study aids. I also decided to combine the use of composition notebooks with a binder system to organize older notes that I still needed. This hybrid approach helped me maintain order without sacrificing durability. Ultimately, the robust construction of composition notebooks proves more cost-effective and reliable than spiral counterparts, especially for students who value longevity in their school supplies. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a dependable notebook that withstands heavy use, promotes neatness, and even includes useful reference tools, composition notebooks are definitely worth considering over spiral notebooks.
