Spiritual baths

When was the last time you completed a #spiritualbath ??👀🙄👂🙉 If it’s been awhile don’t worry my dear, no sweat you got this. This is a basic spiritual bath when I’m coming as peace just wanting to relax while reciting affirmations.

1) I like to be freshly clean

2) Bleach out tub

3) Light my candles, burn sage, incense and palo santo to bless my water. Set your intentions. Get all my items together.

4) After I run my water I add Salt to remove any negatives. I always keep flowers rather they are given or purchase. I place the dry flowers in my bath water herbs based upon the kind of bath.

5) Lastly I add my Florida water. I have not graduated to making my own so I purchase it already made.

6) I submerge in the water giving thank to my Main Source, My Acestors, and Orishas. Maferefun Yemaya.

7) I recite my affirmations using the water to cleanse.

8) After your spiritual connection cover in a white towel and wear white for a few.

... Read moreI absolutely love my basic spiritual bath routine for those moments when I just need to unwind and recenter, as I shared in the main post. But sometimes, I feel drawn to explore different herbs to really tailor my cleansing experience. That's where specific herbs like hyssop come into play, especially when I'm feeling the need for a deeper purification. Recently, I've been incorporating hyssop into my spiritual baths, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer! For those of you wondering about a 'hyssop spiritual bath,' this powerful herb is steeped in tradition, known for its incredible ability to cleanse and protect. Spiritually, hyssop is often used to purify spaces, objects, and even ourselves from negative energy, low vibrations, and lingering spiritual debris. It’s like hitting a reset button for your aura. Many traditions believe it can help remove blockages, promote forgiveness, and invite blessings and clarity into your life. My process for a hyssop spiritual bath is quite simple but effective. First, I source dried hyssop – you can usually find it at spiritual supply stores, herb shops, or online. To prepare it for the bath, I typically make a strong infusion, almost like a tea. I'll take a handful of dried hyssop and steep it in about a quart of hot water for at least 15-20 minutes, sometimes even longer, allowing all its potent properties to infuse the water. Once it's cooled a bit, I strain out the plant material. The goal is to get the healing liquid, not the leaves floating around, although some traditions do leave them in. After my tub is sparkling clean and I've gathered my other items, just like in my usual routine – candles lit, sage burning, and intentions set – I’ll add this hyssop infusion to my bathwater. It joins the sea salt and Florida water, creating a multi-layered cleansing experience. As I submerge myself, I focus my intentions specifically on purification and release. I visualize any worries, negativity, or spiritual heaviness being gently lifted and washed away by the water infused with hyssop's energy. It’s a moment of deep spiritual surrender and renewal. The scent of hyssop is distinct – often described as slightly camphoraceous, fresh, and herbaceous – and it adds another layer to the sensory experience, helping to calm the mind and focus the spirit. I find that when I emerge from a hyssop bath, I not only feel physically refreshed but also spiritually lighter and more grounded. It’s as if a veil has been lifted, and I can approach my day with renewed energy and a clearer perspective. Just like with my regular spiritual bath, after a hyssop bath, I make sure to wrap myself in a clean, white towel and wear white clothing for a while. This helps to seal in the fresh, purified energy and protect my auric field. If you’re looking to amplify your spiritual cleansing rituals and specifically address purification and protection, I highly recommend exploring the magic of a hyssop spiritual bath. It's a wonderful way to deepen your self-care practice and align with your highest self. Give it a try and feel the powerful shift!
