🤍 My Story:
I grew up with two loving parents but one thing they failed in my opinion was how they never took care of themselves my mom now 38 is a survivor of cervical cancer and depression… her child hood trama took a toll on our relationship growing up now that I have my own family I can understand her but be upset at the fact that she could’ve helped her mental health without it affecting us the way it did.
🤍 How I Felt:
I felt hurt and never could understand why it felt like my mom hated me so much it destroyed me being alone and scared to tell my mom anything and did affect mental health
🤍 My Takeaways :
As a mother myself I want to be able to break that family curse of carrying my own childhood trauma on my kids .. they deserve a healthy happy mom . They should be able to come to me without fear and know I am here for them no matter what
