Healing process starting all over again.

Ok I think I’m done with dating.

Why does communicating with your girlfriend or your person have to feel like a chore??

It’s not that hard to text back or just say something, I’m honestly done with “I love you”s and “promises” and all the love stuff that happens.

It’s exhausting, overwhelming, heartbreaking, and on top of that very stupid..

After being in a 2yr and 9 mnth toxic and manipulative relationship, I thought I was gonna lose myself, until I took the time to heal and talk to family member opening up to them, I was fine I was completely ok. Until you get yourself into another relationship and get hurt AGAIN.. it’s exhausting 😓.

But some of the things I learned is;

You can’t force someone to love you, but you can love someone fully and become this beautiful loving person. I think being happy and loved is a good feeling.. but it’s not worth the heartbreak and starting over with healing..

“The lord is close to the brokenhearted , and saves those who are crushed in spirit”.. Psalm 34:18

I’ve been there—getting hurt again after opening up to someone new can make you question if love is worth the pain. One important realization I’ve had is that healing is not linear; it involves setbacks, reflection, and a lot of patience with yourself. Opening communication with trusted family members or friends can be incredibly therapeutic during this time. Their support and understanding help build a foundation of trust and safety, reminding you that you are valued and not alone in your struggles. It’s crucial to allow yourself the grace to feel all your emotions without judgment—whether it’s sadness, anger, or confusion. Something I found deeply helpful was shifting my focus from forcing love or connection to nurturing my own capacity for love. Loving yourself fully creates a beautiful foundation from which healthy relationships can grow. While it’s natural to seek companionship, understanding that you cannot make someone else love you protects your heart from unnecessary pain. Spiritual wisdom, like Psalm 34:18, offers comforting reassurance that even when feeling broken or crushed in spirit, there is closeness and salvation available to us. This perspective can bring peace amid the chaos of emotions. Remember, healing is about reclaiming your identity and strength. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a victory worth celebrating. Embrace your journey with patience, and know that happiness and genuine love are possible after heartbreak.
