Does it really take 21days to build a habit?!

Let’s face it. It’s no easy task.

I procrastinated so bad after pregnancy.

I’m not saying get your butt up & start working out right away after birth. No. Take all the time you need. I did. But I might’ve taken a little TOOO much time off. In January , 4months postpartum I made the choice to start working out again. Take care of my health, eat right.

Now I got the eating right part down. That one seemed to come easy this time around for some reason.

The working out everyday? Not so much. 😅

I made excuse after excuse.

Finally told my self stop! Set a challenge. Do something! So I challenged myself to 21days of gym in April , To see if it really does take 21days to build a habit & honestly after 4 weeks I can say yes. I have rebuilt my habit of going to the gym everyday. Now I MUST go or it feels like I’m missing something. #bodytransformation #Lemon8Diary #healthylifestyle2024 #storytime #gymgirl #Fitness #fitnessmotivation #21dayschallenge

Many people believe that it takes about 21 days to form a new habit, but the reality can vary based on individual circumstances. To successfully create a lasting workout pattern, focus on consistency and motivation. Setting small, achievable goals can make the process less daunting. A morning routine might help in kickstarting your day, making it easier to maintain that commitment to exercise. Fueling your body with proper nutrition is equally essential; consider having a post-workout meal to replenish energy. Hydration is critical too—often, we forget to drink enough water throughout the day. Participating in challenges, like a 21-day fitness plan, can also enhance engagement. Not only does it provide structure, but it can also foster accountability when paired with a friend or a community. Remember, each individual's journey may differ. What's vital is finding the rhythm that works for you, making exercise a regular and enjoyable part of your life.
