You must recognize, you must spiritually discern, that some things you're urged to say and do are coming from demonic spirits tempting you and encouraging you to do evil and sin against God and His will for your life.
The good news is, Christians know their enemy. Atheists don't even understand that many of the things they say and do are inspired by demons tempting them. But you, as a forgiven child of God through Jesus Christ, you know your enemy and the demonic tactics employed against you.
You have victory over demonic forces via the Holy Spirit dwelling within you and the Holy Spirit informing you that the data you just received are from demons, reject that, and instead, say and do this according to the will and command of God (John 14:26).
Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Spiritual warfare involves more than just acknowledging the presence of evil; it requires active discernment and spiritual vigilance in everyday life. As a believer, I have found that praying regularly and meditating on scriptures such as Ephesians 6:10-18 strengthens my understanding and resistance to demonic influences. One verse that particularly resonates with me is Matthew 16:18, reminding us that "the gates of Hades will not overpower the Church," which confirms the strength and protection afforded to believers. The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in alerting us when we face spiritual attacks. I have experienced moments when thoughts or impulses felt unnatural or negative, and through prayer and reflection, I recognized these as temptations from demonic sources. By consciously rejecting these impulses and choosing to act according to God’s will—as inspired by the Holy Spirit—I found peace and protection in daily struggles. Additionally, community support through church fellowship and sharing testimonies helps us build resilience against spiritual attacks. Discussing these experiences openly can deepen our faith and provide practical advice on using biblical teachings to counter temptation. Remembering that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4) encourages me to face challenges boldly, knowing that the divine power within me is stronger than any external evil force. Incorporating these spiritual disciplines into daily life not only strengthens individual faith but also fortifies the collective spiritual armor of the Christian community, helping each person resist sin and live in alignment with God’s will.
