゚+.゚Leobog Hi86: Keyboard Review!
Hey everyone! Today, I wanted to share this beautiful keybaord from Leobog that was kindly gifted to me. It's the Hi86 and here are some key features:
•Durable aluminum case
•Tri-mode connection
•Hot-swappable PCB
•16 lighting effects
It's also pretty thocky right out the box. For right under $100, this is a beautiful and solid keyboard. Only downside is the keycaps are ABS vs higher quality PBT. Other than that I hghly recommend it! This one will be in heavy rotation :3

Okay, so I just shared my initial thoughts on the Leobog Hi86, but I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why this keyboard has truly become a staple in my setup! When I first unboxed it, the durable aluminum case immediately stood out. It feels so premium, especially for a keyboard under $100. The build quality alone makes it feel like it should cost much more. One thing that really sealed the deal for me was the satisfying thock sound. Seriously, I can't get enough of it! Right out of the box, it has such a pleasant, deep sound profile that many keyboards only achieve with extensive modding. This is a huge win for anyone looking for that premium acoustic experience without the extra effort. And for those of us who love to tinker, the hot-swappable PCB is a game-changer. While the stock switches are great, knowing I can easily swap them out for different tactile or linear options down the line means this keyboard can evolve with my preferences. It also makes maintenance super easy. Speaking of customization, the original review mentioned the ABS keycaps. While they're perfectly fine, I've already been looking into some pastel PBT keycap sets to match my light blue and white desk aesthetic. The beauty of a hot-swappable board is that you're not stuck with anything, and upgrading keycaps is a simple way to elevate the look and feel. The tri-mode connection has also been incredibly practical. I primarily use it wired for gaming to ensure zero latency, but being able to switch to Bluetooth for a cleaner desktop look or use the 2.4GHz wireless for other tasks is fantastic. It’s super stable, and I haven’t experienced any drops or lag. It really helps maintain that clean desk setup I strive for, especially when paired with my white mouse and trying to achieve a cohesive aesthetic with my monitors displaying anime art. Let's talk about the 16 lighting effects. They're not just a gimmick; they really add to the vibe of my space. I love cycling through different patterns depending on my mood or what game I’m playing. For those wondering about software, the Leobog Hi86 software allows for even more granular control over these effects, as well as key remapping and macro creation. It’s intuitive to use and really unlocks the full potential of the board, letting you personalize it beyond just the physical components. Overall, this Leobog Hi86 keyboard isn't just a pretty face. It's a powerhouse of features, design, and performance. From its durable aluminum case to its hot-swappable PCB and amazing thock sound, it offers incredible value. Whether you’re a keyboard enthusiast or just someone looking for a fantastic daily driver, I genuinely think this is one of the best options out there right now, especially considering its price point. It integrates seamlessly into my gaming setup and makes every typing session a joy. You really can't go wrong with this one!
