I'm still buzzing from unboxing my latest 'HOLA! SPAIN SNACK CRATE' – it was like a little trip to Seville for my taste buds! While the whole box was an adventure, I just have to gush about a few standout items, especially those ConChitas ham-flavored shells that I’d heard so much about. First off, the ConChitas ham-flavored shells! You guys, these are not just any chips. The OCR mentioned them, and they were definitely a highlight. Imagine a perfectly crunchy, light, shell-shaped corn snack, but infused with this savory, almost smoky ham flavor that just melts in your mouth. They're incredibly addictive and unlike anything I've tried from a regular snack aisle here. They have a unique texture that’s satisfyingly airy yet substantial. I found myself reaching for them constantly while watching a movie. If you're looking for something truly authentic and delicious from Spain, these are a must-try. They’re a fantastic savory treat that perfectly captures a classic Spanish flavor profile – it’s no wonder they’re popular! Next up, the El Valle Black Truffle chips. Wow! As soon as I opened the bag, that distinct, earthy aroma of black truffle hit me. The chips themselves were thinly sliced and incredibly crispy. The truffle flavor was present without being overpowering, giving them a gourmet feel. These are definitely a sophisticated snack, perfect for a cozy night in or impressing guests. I paired them with a glass of sparkling water, and it was pure bliss. They truly elevated the snack experience. Then there were the sweet treats! The Vidal Gummi Spicy Mangos were a delightful surprise. I love a good sweet-and-spicy combo, and these delivered perfectly. They started with a juicy, tropical mango sweetness, followed by a gentle kick of chili that left a pleasant warmth. They were chewy and flavorful, a perfect pick-me-up. I also spotted Dulcesol Palmeritas, which are flaky, buttery pastry cookies – a classic Spanish pastry that’s simply divine with coffee. And the Lemon Bites were wonderfully zesty, a tart counterpoint to all the other rich flavors. Among the other savory delights, the Koskis BBQ rings and Triskys Jamón corn snacks were fantastic. The BBQ rings had a familiar, comforting barbecue flavor, while the Triskys offered another take on the beloved Spanish ham taste, but in a different corn snack format. Even the Cheetos Pelotazos were a fun, uniquely Spanish twist on a familiar favorite. Overall, this Spanish snack crate was an absolute winner. It offered such a diverse array of flavors, from the iconic ConChitas ham-flavored shells to gourmet black truffle chips and exciting spicy mango gummies. It’s such a fun way to experience a little bit of Spain without leaving your home. If you're pondering a snack box, especially one with a global theme, I highly recommend diving into a Spanish one – you won't be disappointed by the unique and delicious discoveries!
Black truffle chips were salty and have a flavor that’s hard to describe. It’s a flavor that isn’t off putting and yet it’s not good enough to make you want to buy another. The triskys rings weren’t bad but also not good enough that I would buy them again. The barbacoa rings and the soccer ball cheese puffs were not to my liking. The lemon cake was soft and potent, but delicious. Not any different than what you’d expect. The strawberry sticks are very soft taffy with a honey aftertaste. Not bad but Starbursts are better.
