The tree is up!
Decorating the tree is one of my favorite parts of Christmas. When I was little we had a 4’ tree that sat on a desk in my grandmother’s apartment and I remember her always warning me to be careful with her fragile vintage ornaments. But one of my best Christmas memories was the year my mom and I lived in a tiny trailer and had no money. I found a little 2’ top section of a fake tree in a box that said FREE. I brought it inside and decorated it with toys, hair accessories, anything that would stay in the tree. There were no presents that year, but it will always be one of my favorite memories.
