🤍 My Story: I am an INFJ a type 5 enneagram. Don’t know what that means? That’s fine! Not important! I struggle with unexplained infertility and am on the journey to having our first earthbound baby! I love reading anything fiction or fantasy… dark romance 😉… and gaming, mostly cozy games on the weekends.
🤍 How I Felt: starting the journey of infertility I thought it was the end of me. I try to be so perfect for everyone else, I thought I needed to be perfect myself too. Although infertility is really shitty and unfair, it’s let me realize that being coiled into a spring is no bueno. I felt really alone when some of my closest friends at the start of our journey chose themselves over being there for us. I felt alone with keeping our infertility a secret because I was embarrassed. My husband was my only support in the beginning and it weighed on him.
🤍 My Takeaways: Infertility doesn’t define me, it’s just something we deal with. And the best way to deal with it is to go through it wholeheartedly, even when you feel like you can’t step anymore. Don’t worry, this positive outlook still takes its toll some days. Finding solace in the things we love and people we love are the only way to keep ourselves sane when dealing with triggering and traumatic experiences. You’re not alone and I’m not either.
