Starting nursing school is definitely a rewarding yet demanding experience. From my own journey, the transition between terms, especially moving past the fundamentals courses, feels like an uphill climb but one that's very doable with perseverance. Achieving around 80-90% in these classes felt like a huge milestone considering how complex human anatomy and physiology concepts seemed initially. One key to managing these challenges was breaking down complex information into smaller, manageable parts and consistently reviewing material daily. Forming study groups with fellow nursing students helped me gain different perspectives and better retention. As I move into Term 2, I’m focusing on sharpening my clinical reasoning skills and maintaining that strong foundation. Recognizing that terms build on one another has encouraged me to stay organized and seek help whenever needed.
