It's a fantastic way to meet new people and immerse yourself in the culture. For anyone thinking about trying country dancing, my biggest tip is just to go for it! Don't worry about being perfect. The community is usually very friendly and supportive. Wear comfortable shoes – cowboy boots are traditional and functional, but any comfy closed-toe shoes will do.
