My Favorite Youtube Pilates

I love working out in the comfort of my own home. I started my pilates journey about a year ago. Low impact workouts do wonders for me. I usually workout 3-5x a week with pilates but I also incorporate strength training 1-2x a week and just got into running about 3-4x times a week.

Move with Nicole is one of my favorites for mat pilates workouts.

Bailey Brown is also great for beginners and super short effective workouts when you don’t have much time.

I started my Pilates journey about a year ago, and the low-impact nature of these workouts has done wonders for me, fitting perfectly into my routine of 3-5 sessions a week alongside strength training and running. When it comes to finding the best Pilates instructors on YouTube, two names consistently stand out for me: Move with Nicole: For anyone serious about mat Pilates, Move with Nicole is a must-try. I find her flows incredibly well-structured, challenging, and yet accessible. She offers a fantastic range of videos, from quick 10-minute sessions to full-length workouts that really make you feel the burn and see results. Her clear instructions and calming demeanor make her a joy to follow. If you're looking to build consistent strength, improve flexibility, and deepen your mind-body connection through Pilates mat work, she's your go-to. I’ve personally experienced significant improvements in my core stability and posture by sticking to her routines. Bailey Brown: Bailey Brown is another gem, especially for beginners or those days when you're short on time but still want an effective workout. Her superpower is efficiency! Her videos are often shorter, usually under 20 minutes, but they pack a punch. She's excellent at breaking down movements, making them easy to follow, even if you’re just starting out. I often turn to Bailey Brown for quick full-body blasts or targeted workouts, like her popular abs workouts, which are fantastic for strengthening your core. I've also heard amazing things about her 30-day Pilates challenges – they’re perfect for establishing a new routine or getting back on track with consistent, results-driven workouts. Choosing Your Best Pilates YouTube Channel: Finding the perfect YouTube Pilates channel really boils down to your personal goals and schedule. If you're completely new, look for channels like Bailey Brown's that offer clear cues and modifications. If you're craving longer, flowing sessions that build endurance and flexibility, Move with Nicole is fantastic. Most YouTube Pilates focuses on mat-based exercises, which means all you truly need is a yoga mat. The key is to find an instructor whose personality and teaching style resonate with you – that connection is what will keep you motivated and consistent on your fitness journey. Tips for an Effective Home Workout Space: Creating a dedicated home workout space can significantly boost your consistency. Even a small corner can become your personal fitness sanctuary. I always make sure to lay out my yoga mat, maybe grab a towel, and ensure I have good airflow – sometimes a simple box fan makes a huge difference in keeping me comfortable and focused. Scheduling your home workout like an important appointment can also help, making it a non-negotiable part of your day. Remember to listen to your body, stay hydrated, and don't be afraid to take rest days when needed. These small habits make a big difference in maintaining your fitness journey right from your living room.
