Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
I share this video to reveal that it is okay to be tired. As I digest the motivation of the referenced speech, I’m going to add another element to the connotation of the word tired with eloquent rage. Eloquent simply means clearly expressing or indicating something. There is rage, passion, and frustration that I see within the soul of Dr. King that hits the rafters of our nation to say enough is enough! When tiredness arrives, it becomes the catalyst and momentum for construction. Now keep in mind there is a dichotomy or spectrum I imply with construction in tiredness; the reconstruction to change or the deconstruction of purpose by remaining in oppression. For the tired souls, myself included, ponder on which end of the spectrum you select to invoke change within your sphere.
