This book just saw the cover was haunting. I didn't dare to read it alone at night. I kept reading the sky at the end.
It's a "fake" documentary story made so "realistic" that I can't believe it's a feat.
In this volume, there will be a total of 8 stories together.
Personally, I like a lot of things. Give me three examples.
Story 1 Sealed fake documentary
This is the story of a video rental store that is rumored online that there is a video that, if anyone watches it, will die. 😨 Someone has rented it and disappeared or later died.
This is reminiscent of the movie 999, next to death, where if anyone calls this number, it will die like that. It plays well with the curiosity of people. In the book, there is a Q-R code to scan the clip. 😣
Story 2, basement.
Recounted through a CCTV clip in the elevator that recorded a woman coming up the elevator as usual, but the unusual thing is that the elevator does not stop on the 1st floor, but goes back and forth like diving into the underground without ending. This is very scary.
Story 3 Orange Robinson's knockout block
It's about a blog where someone writes a story on a blog, where he hires a graphic editor, and then writes that someone hires a simple but creepy photo editor, which is to cut a family photo with a picture of a woman's horrible face overlapping. At first, he thought that it was just a prank, but he hired this person to hire a photo editor in the same way several times, using the same woman's picture over the other family pictures. 🥺
But it's a lot to think about whether it's real or deceitful because it looks very realistic, and when you look at the clips that are taped to contain, it adds a lot of hallucinations, it's perfect to read during Halloween. 😖

ถ้าใครกำลังหาข้อมูลว่า Fake Documentary ‘Q’ (สารคดีปิดตาย) คืออะไร / แนวไหนกันแน่ เราว่าคำตอบสั้นๆคือ “หนังสือแนว mockumentary” หรือ “สารคดีปลอม” ที่ทำแพ็กเกจให้เหมือนอ่านแฟ้มคดี/รายงาน/หลักฐานมากๆ จนเผลออินว่ามันเคยเกิดขึ้นจริง จุดเด่นคือมันไม่ได้พึ่งแค่การเล่าเรื่อง แต่ยัด “หลักฐานปลอม” มาให้เราตีความเอง ทั้งภาพขาวดำ โพสต์จากเว็บบอร์ด รายงานเพิ่มเติม แล้วก็มี QR ที่สแกนไปดูคลิปประกอบ ทำให้ฟีลเหมือนเรากำลังสืบอะไรสักอย่างอยู่จริงๆ ส่วนตัวเราแนะนำให้ตั้งโหมดอ่านไว้ประมาณนี้ จะสนุกและหลอนขึ้นแบบพอดีๆ 1) อ่านตอนมีเวลาและอยู่ในที่สว่างหน่อย เล่มนี้บรรยากาศมันพาไปง่าย โดยเฉพาะตอนที่มีภาพจากกล้องวงจรปิดในลิฟต์/ภาพหน้าเบี้ยวๆ ถ้าอ่านดึกๆคนเดียวอาจจะจินตนาการต่อแบบหยุดไม่อยู่ 2) สแกน QR ตอนที่ใจพร้อม หลายคนซื้อเพราะอยากลองสแกนคลิป เราว่ามันเพิ่มความ “สมจริง” ได้เยอะก็จริง แต่ถ้าเป็นคนขวัญอ่อน แนะนำอ่านเนื้อเรื่องให้จบตอนนั้นก่อน แล้วค่อยย้อนกลับมาสแกนทีหลัง จะคุมความหลอนได้ดีกว่า 3) เล่มนี้เหมาะกับคนชอบอะไร - ชอบแนวเรื่องสั้นสยองขวัญแบบ “หลอนจากความจริงปลอม” มากกว่าสัตว์ประหลาดโผล่ - ชอบอ่านแนวสืบๆ แฟ้มคดี หลักฐาน ภาพประกอบเยอะ - ชอบความรู้สึกก้ำกึ่งว่า “ตกลงจริงหรือแต่ง” (นี่แหละเสน่ห์ของ mockumentary) 4) คำถามที่เจอบ่อย: ปิดตาย ภาษาอังกฤษคืออะไร? ถ้าพูดถึงชื่อเล่ม คนส่วนใหญ่จะค้นด้วย Fake Documentary ‘Q’ หรือ Q fake documentary มากกว่า ส่วน “สารคดีปิดตาย” เป็นชื่อไทยที่ให้ฟีลความลับ/เอกสารถูกผนึก (ประมาณ sealed/closed) แต่เวลาตามหาหนังสือ แนะนำพิมพ์ “Fake Documentary Q” จะเจอง่ายสุด 5) ทริคอ่านให้สนุกขึ้น ลองเลือก 1 เรื่องที่ชอบก่อน (อย่างสายลิฟต์/ชั้นใต้ดิน หรือสายวิดีโอมรณะ) แล้วค่อยไล่อ่านเรื่องอื่นต่อ เพราะแต่ละเรื่องจังหวะหลอนไม่เท่ากัน อ่านแบบนี้จะไม่รู้สึกหนักจนเกินไป โดยรวมสำหรับเรา Fake Documentary ‘Q’ หรือ สารคดีปิดตาย เป็นเล่มที่เหมาะมากกับช่วงฮาโลวีน/อยากหาอะไรหลอนๆแบบแปลกใหม่ อ่านจบแล้วจะยังนึกถึง “หลักฐาน” ในเล่มอยู่เลยว่า…มันเฟคจริงใช่ไหม?
