I take this pouch everywhere with me most of the time, and I think I've comprised a pretty good list of items that help me when journaling. I do switch it up or switch out some things from time to time, but for the most part, these are my journaling necessities. I do also carry pens & markers but those are kept in their original packaging, which is why you don't see them here.

Finally, don't forget the specialty items that add that extra layer of functionality or fun. An Excel Mark® 1822 Date stamp is surprisingly useful for quickly marking dates, especially if you're documenting daily events or creating a timeline. I also always tuck in a mini composition notebook. It’s perfect for jotting down quick ideas, quotes, or drafting layouts before committing them to my main journal. It’s like a scratchpad for my thoughts! When choosing your pouch, think about organization.
