My favorite duo groups
I wanted to make this post to get people to listen to these groups that are my whole world but also to kind of promote their music in my own little way.
I was thinking about it while listening to my music at work that some of my favorite groups right now just so happen to be duos. So let me start by talking about them.
First up, is The Army the navy. I saw these two in DC about a year ago and omg these two girlys can sing. I first found out about them through Spotify. It started with me listening to a song by them and in my usual way I went through their whole discography after that. 40% is my favorite song by them and I lost my shit when they played it live. A couple other good songs by them are Persimmons, Alexandra, and Rascal.
Second up, The two lips. I got a chance to see them back in November. I was starstrucked. They are both so cute and friendly! Some of you may know Andrea from her Tik tok videos @andreaflwrss
I know they just got signed to a label recently but I would love to see them get bigger! please universe ✨️ The song that got me into them was Still love you (todavia). Some of my other favorite songs by them are Play, Clue, blossom, and Sick!
Third up, Jack Rabbit. Not as known as the other two but hopefully they also become big soon! God, I made the mistake of listening to these girls song Casual while reading the book The Devil She Knows by Alexandra Bellefleur and I fucking cried so hard!!! That song, along with their song Hesitated have been on constant repeat for me this past year. Before you ask, who hurt me? obviously my ex's. But anywho, yeah these girlys can sing and I need them to come to DC so I can go see them! Some other songs by them that I love are When the night comes, Tú con Él, and That's all, right?
