Our 3D Renders for our first home together 😍✨

Probably the most exciting part of planning our new home so far 😂 After months of house viewing, renovation discussions and researching Pinterest boards… seeing everything come to life in 3D feels so surreal 🥹

These are the initial renders of our new home, and honestly I’m already imagining what it’ll look like once everything is done! We wanted something modern and of a darker tone and shade, with warm lighting.

Still fine-tuning a few things with our ID, so I’d love to hear your thoughts!

✨ What do you think of the living room design?

✨ Should I go lighter or darker for the kitchen?

✨ Any tips from those who already renovated?

We’re officially starting renovation soon, so more updates coming 🤎

... Read morePlanning and visualizing a new home through 3D renders is such a rewarding experience. It allowed us to experiment with different styles and color schemes before committing to anything, which really helped ease some of the renovation stress. We found that using platforms like Pinterest for inspiration was invaluable in shaping our ideas. When deciding on darker tones, lighting becomes crucial—warm lights create a cozy atmosphere that complements the darker shades beautifully. For the kitchen, balancing natural light and artificial lighting helped us decide to lean towards a slightly lighter shade to keep the space feeling open yet sophisticated. I’d recommend anyone undergoing a renovation to communicate openly with your interior designer and not hesitate to ask for multiple iterations of design renders. It’s important to imagine not just how the space looks, but also how it will feel day-to-day. Lastly, documenting your home journey on social media not only keeps friends and family updated but also connects you with fellow home renovators who can offer practical advice and share their own experiences. It’s both inspiring and reassuring to know you’re not alone in this exciting adventure!
