Time to explore
It’s been a while since I explored hogwarts. Time to start a new playthrough. What did you guys think of Hogwarts Legacy? Are you excited for the sequel?
Hey fellow witches and wizards! 👋 So, like many of you, I've found myself diving back into the magical world of Hogwarts Legacy for another playthrough. And let's be real, one of the biggest hurdles (and joys!) is leveling up your character to unlock those awesome spells and talents. If you're looking for the best ways to farm XP and become a powerful wizard or witch in no time, you've come to the right place! I've spent a lot of time figuring out the most efficient strategies, and I'm excited to share my personal tips. First off, it's not just about battling every dark wizard you see. While combat is a good source of XP, it's the challenges and exploration that truly make a difference. I quickly realized that completing your Field Guide is an absolute goldmine. Every time you collect a Field Guide page, whether it's floating through the air, hidden behind a Revelio spell, or found in a specific location like the TRANSHGURATION COURTYARD, you get a nice chunk of experience. So, my first piece of advice is to be a diligent explorer. Don't rush through areas; take your time to cast Revelio everywhere. You'd be surprised what you find! Another fantastic way I found to rack up XP is by completing Merlin Trials. These environmental puzzles are scattered all over the Highlands, and each one gives you a boost, plus completing groups of them unlocks inventory expansions. It's a win-win! Similarly, seeking out Demiguise Statues at night (which also contributes to unlocking the Alohomora spell levels) provides a good XP reward for each one you turn in to Mr. Moon. Don't underestimate the power of side quests and relationship quests either. While the main story quests give decent XP, some of the side quests, especially those involving companions like Sebastian, Natsai, or Poppy, offer significant experience points and unique rewards. They often involve more complex scenarios than simple fetch quests, making them feel more rewarding too. I always prioritize these when I'm trying to level up quickly. For those who love combat, the battle arenas are your friend. The Dark Arts Battle Arena or the regular one in the Forbidden Forest are great places to practice your spell combinations and grind out enemy-specific challenges. Defeating certain numbers of Goblins, Poachers, or Ashwinders completes challenges that grant substantial XP. Also, don't forget about stealth! Using Petrificus Totalus on unaware enemies gives bonus XP, so try to approach enemy camps strategically. It's a satisfying way to feel like a true, cunning wizard! Lastly, caring for magical beasts in your Room of Requirement vivariums also contributes. Feeding and grooming your beasts, and then collecting their resources, gradually adds up to a surprising amount of XP over time. Plus, it’s a lovely, chill activity when you need a break from intense questing. So, if you're like me and want to say, "You're a wizard, Harry!" to your own leveled-up character faster, focus on exploration, completing challenges, and diving deep into those side stories. These strategies truly helped me make my new playthrough incredibly smooth and enjoyable. Let me know your favorite XP farming methods in the comments!
