One habit I’ve started adding after long runs, stressful workdays, or long hours on my feet is simply putting my legs up against a wall.

It’s not magic.

But it forces me to slow down.

To breathe.

To relax.

To give my body a chance to recover before tomorrow begins.

Sometimes the biggest improvements don’t come from doing more.

They come from recovering better.

Since it's so easy to do—requiring no special equipment or location—it's a habit I highly recommend for anyone looking to enhance their health without a big time commitment. Whether after a stressful workday, a demanding workout, or simply to break up long hours of sitting or standing, giving your legs a quick elevation session can make a meaningful difference.
