unputdownable!
My first read with my Kobo.
Review :-
I was surprised at the end of the story that the other woman was actually the wife herself, and the husband's killer was the wife. 🤯
I kept guessing throughout the story that the other woman was the wife's employee and the killer could be her cousin or one of the husband's scandal but the ending got me surprised!
Love this. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me!
Reading mystery novels on an e-reader like the Kobo offers a unique experience that enhances focus and engagement. The glowing screen allows you to easily navigate through twists and turns without losing track, making it perfect for stories with unexpected endings like this one. What made this particular book stand out was how it played with assumptions. Throughout the story, I found myself guessing at the identity of 'the other woman'—was she the wife’s employee, a cousin, or someone involved in the husband’s scandals? This uncertainty kept me hooked and wanting to read more. The surprise reveal that the wife was not only the other woman but also the killer was brilliantly executed. It subverted conventional roles and added psychological depth to the characters. Such plot twists are what make mystery thrillers so addictive and rewarding. For readers who enjoy trying to solve the mystery alongside the protagonist, this book is a perfect pick. It challenges your perceptions and encourages close attention to detail. If you love stories that keep you guessing and end with a jaw-dropping twist, this is a must-read. Additionally, the 5-star rating reflects the compelling storytelling and tight narrative structure. The author’s skill in misdirecting the reader while maintaining coherence is impressive. This book is a great example of how powerful writing and a well-planned plot can make a story truly unputdownable.
