National Annual Tree Love Day
Hongkao Falls National Park holds the National Annual Tree Care Day, 2018.
On October 21 of each year, in addition to being a day like the day of His Majesty the King, on June 26, 1990, the Council of Ministers resolved to be the annual tree maintenance day of the nation, and later renamed it "the annual tree love day of the nation," and has used this name until now.
The "National Day of Love of Trees" was born from the power of His Majesty King Srinakarin, who valued tree maintenance and restoring the balance of nature, planting and maintaining trees with Him throughout his life. He once said, "I will plant a forest on Doi Tung," because he wanted to see the greenery and integrity of the forest on Doi Tung, from a barren mountain with no trees. The government under the leadership of His Majesty General Prem Sulanont, the then prime minister, established the Doi Tung development project in the year 2000. 2531 The forest conditions on Doi Tung have been enriched by the success of the Doi Tung Development Programme this time and have sparked an awakening in raising awareness of the conservation of natural resources for the wider general public.
The goal of the annual National Tree Love Day is to be achieved. It requires the cooperation of all parties, government, private sector, and the people themselves, who must value and preserve forests in Thailand as persistent and sustainable.

นอกจากวันที่ 21 ตุลาคมซึ่งเป็นวันรักต้นไม้ประจำปีของชาติแล้ว ยังมีความสำคัญที่ต้องเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับประวัติและความมุ่งหมายของวันสำคัญนี้ วันรักต้นไม้ประจำปีของชาติไม่ได้เพียงเป็นวันที่ระลึกถึงการปลูกต้นไม้เท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นวันที่ตอกย้ำถึงการบำรุงรักษาป่าไม้และฟื้นฟูธรรมชาติให้คงความสมดุลและยั่งยืน ในปี พ.ศ. 2533 คณะรัฐมนตรีได้มีมติให้วันที่ 26 มิถุนายนเป็นวันบำรุงรักษาต้นไม้ประจำปีของชาติ ก่อนเปลี่ยนชื่อเป็นวันรักต้นไม้ประจำปีของชาติ เพื่อส่งเสริมจิตสำนึกการอนุรักษ์และปลูกต้นไม้ในหมู่ประชาชนและหน่วยงานต่างๆ โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากพระราชดำริของสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี ที่ทรงส่งเสริมให้ปลูกและดูแลต้นไม้เพื่อสร้างความอุดมสมบูรณ์ให้กับธรรมชาติ เรื่องราวความสำเร็จของโครงการพัฒนาดอยตุงที่สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี ทรงเริ่มต้นปลูกป่าในพื้นที่แห้งแล้ง กลายเป็นตัวอย่างที่ชัดเจน ว่าการปลูกและบำรุงรักษาต้นไม้อย่างต่อเนื่องสามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพแวดล้อมได้อย่างยั่งยืน โครงการนี้ยังเป็นแรงผลักดันให้ประชาชนทั่วประเทศหันมาใส่ใจและตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการรักษาทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ โดยเฉพาะในปัจจุบันที่ป่าไม้ทั่วโลกกำลังเผชิญกับปัญหาการถูกทำลายอย่างหนัก การร่วมมือกันระหว่างภาครัฐ เอกชน และประชาชนมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการดำเนินกิจกรรมปลูกและดูแลต้นไม้ กิจกรรมในวันรักต้นไม้ปีนี้ที่อุทยานแห่งชาติน้ำตกหงาว ถือเป็นตัวอย่างการลงมือปฏิบัติจริงที่ช่วยกระตุ้นจิตสำนึกและสร้างความยั่งยืนให้กับผืนป่าของไทย นอกจากการปลูกและดูแลต้นไม้ในวันนี้แล้ว เรายังสามารถมีส่วนร่วมได้โดยการลดการใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ทำลายป่าและเลือกใช้วัสดุที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม ร่วมกันเผยแพร่ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการอนุรักษ์ป่าไม้ รวมถึงส่งเสริมกิจกรรมการปลูกต้นไม้ในโรงเรียน ชุมชน และพื้นที่สาธารณะ เพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายของผู้รักธรรมชาติที่จะช่วยกันดูแลรักษาป่าไม้ให้คงความสมบูรณ์ต่อไปในอนาคต
