I’ve been going to so many weddings lately and here is how I like to style my hair!
1. Zig zag part slick back: this style is super cute and easy to do! It’ll last you all night and works best if you don’t have a lot of time! Use a Rat tail comb to get precise parting and use a strong hold gel and brush to smooth your hair down.
2. Twist out! This style will take some planning but it’s worth it! Install twists at least 1 day before the event in order to make sure your twist out has lots of definition! Use a leave-in and mousse.
3. Wash & Go: this is my favorite way to style my hair for a wedding because it’s very easy to do! I use leave-in, curl cream and gel to achieve this look!
4. Mini twists: if the wedding is somewhere tropical, mini twists are a cute and versatile style to do! They are easy to style in multiple different ways. I love to style them in a half up half down look.

... Read moreAttending weddings often means finding a hairstyle that's both elegant and comfortable throughout the day and night. From personal experience, the zig zag part slick back is my go-to when I'm short on time but still want a polished look. Using a rat tail comb really helps create a precise part, and applying a strong hold gel keeps the style intact no matter how much you dance or move.
For those who love a bit of texture and volume, the twist out is worth planning for. Installing twists a day before allows the curls to set nicely, and the combination of leave-in conditioner and mousse helps keep the hair defined and frizz-free. It’s a bit more effort but definitely turns heads!
Wash & Go styles are fantastic for a natural, effortless vibe. I always apply a good leave-in conditioner followed by curl cream and gel to enhance my curls. This routine keeps my hair hydrated and bouncy, which works beautifully for both indoor and outdoor weddings.
If you’re attending a tropical wedding or an event in warm weather, mini twists are my favorite because of their versatility. Styling them half up half down not only looks cute but also helps manage hair in the heat. Plus, mini twists are low maintenance and can be accessorized with pins or flowers to match your outfit.
Overall, these styles offer a range of options whether you want something quick or more defined. Remembering to prep your hair with the right products and tools can make all the difference in maintaining your chosen look throughout the event.
