Chill weekend activity @pottery please! $28/pax 🎨

Here’s a sign for you to book an activity for you & your friends/lover!

Overall take:

It’s a little expensive but the experience was quite fun, and you get to take away a useable item (be it plate, cups etc.). So i’ll say it’s worth it.

I like that the area was small and quiet too. Not sure if anything changed (i did this last year)

End product:

I didnt expect the color to turn out like that (they did say it will become darker after firing/glazing?) But i guess i didnt do too bad 😆

Have fun!

... Read moreIf you're considering trying pottery painting at Queensway Shopping Centre, here are some helpful tips from my experience. The studio offers a selection of pottery pieces starting at $8, and the session itself is $28 per person, paid upfront when you book online or via Instagram. You have about 1.5 hours to paint your chosen piece, and if you feel you need more time, the session can be extended for an additional $5 per 30 minutes — definitely a good option if you're aiming for more detailed designs. One thing I learned is to avoid being overly ambitious if you're not confident in painting, as it can get stressful trying to perfect your design within the time limit. I recommend deciding on your design idea before you arrive so you won’t spend too much time browsing for inspiration while there. The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist if you need guidance or help with handling materials. After painting, your piece will be fired and glazed, which may darken the colors compared to how they look when you paint — keep that in mind while choosing your palette. It took about three weeks to collect my finished pottery, and it was exciting to see how it turned out, especially since you get to take home a unique, handmade plate or cup. The studio’s quiet and cozy environment makes it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a creative weekend activity, whether alone or with friends and loved ones. Overall, while the cost might seem a bit steep, the experience, the memorable keepsake, and the chance to engage in a hands-on artistic activity were well worth it. Definitely a recommended chill weekend plan in Singapore!
