Still figuring out who I am and what my goals are

Finding your identity and setting meaningful goals can be challenging, especially for young women striving for success in today's competitive landscape. As a 22-year-old from Jamaica now based in Florida, I share my journey of embracing my dual passions: business and nursing. It’s important to recognize that this journey is unique for every individual, but many of us face similar obstacles. From my early days selling candy in Jamaica to launching my business in keychains and notebooks, these experiences have shaped my aspirations. Understanding one’s strengths and weaknesses is crucial in identifying what truly drives you and can lead to fulfilling career choices. This includes exploring avenues in entrepreneurship, where creativity and resilience are key. Additionally, I highlight the significance of visualization techniques like vision boards, which can help clarify your goals and motivate you to achieve them. For instance, one of my dreams is to buy my first car, and this has been on my vision board since I was 18. In this supportive community, we can uplift each other through our stories and experiences, creating a network where aspiring businesswomen can thrive.
