for 2 body builders + toddler
this is what a typical costco haul looks like, runs us about $350 give or take + tax and will last us about 2-3 weeks
some things are mainly for our toddler like the fruits, moz cheese + the coconut drink but we do have some here and there💕
my meal plan is mainly chicken breast, tilapia (which we have stocked up already) and salmon
and my husbands is mainly egg whites, chicken, ground beef and ground turkey
for carbs my husband typically has jasmin rice + rice cakes
and i stick to sweet potatoes, yellow potatoes and oatmeal

When shopping for a family that includes bodybuilders and a toddler, it's crucial to optimize your grocery haul for nutritional value. At Costco, you can find a variety of items that meet high protein requirements while also catering to a child's tastes. For instance, combining versatile proteins like chicken breast, tilapia, salmon, and lean ground turkey provides essential nutrients essential for muscle recovery and growth. Don't forget those power-packed carbs! Jasmine rice, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal not only fuel intensive workouts but also are kid-friendly options. Additionally, snacks like Greek yogurt, fruits (such as strawberries, blueberries, and cherries), and mozzarella contribute to a healthy diet for all family members. Make sure to explore Costco's frozen section for easy meal prep options. With careful planning, like batching meals and using meal prep containers, you can ensure that everyone in your household enjoys nutritious options throughout the weeks to come. This approach sets a positive example for a toddler, promoting healthy eating habits from an early age.
